Herhangi bir lisans programı mezunu olmak. Ancak sınavı geçip Arkeoloji Yüksek Lisans Programına başlamayı hak eden öğrencilere aşağıdaki şartlar uygulanacaktır:
1-      Arkeoloji, Prehistorya/Tarihöncesi Arkeolojisi, Protohistorya ve Önasya Arkeolojisi, Klasik Arkeoloji, Eskiçağ Tarihi, Eskiçağ/Antik Dilleri (Hititçe, Latince, Yunanca, Sümerce, Akadca vb.), Bölüm/Anabilim Dallarından mezun öğrenciler, programa direkt başlayabilir.
2-      Yukarıda sözü geçen bölüm/anabilim Dalları dışından gelen ancak lisans eğitimleri boyunca en az 3 arkeoloji ile ilişkili ders almış öğrenciler direkt Yüksek Lisans programına başlayabilirler.
3- Yukarıda bahsi geçen bölümler dışından gelen ve lisans eğitimleri boyunca en az 3 tane arkeoloji dersi almamış olan ve sınavı geçerek Yüksek Lisans Programına başlamayı hak eden öğrenciler anabilim dalına kabul edildikten sonra hazırlık eğitimi almak zorundadırlar (4 ders Güz yarıyılı, 4 ders Bahar yarıyılı olmak üzere toplamda 8 ders).
4- Öğrenciler mülakata gireceklerdir. Mülakatta alınan puanlar sonrasında oluşacak sıralamaya göre öğrenciler programa kabul edilecektir.
Graduation from any undergraduate program is required. However, the following conditions will apply to students who pass the exam and are eligible to begin the Master's Program in Archaeology:

1- Students graduating from Archaeology, Prehistory/Prehistoric Archaeology, Protohistory and Near Eastern Archaeology, Classical Archaeology, Ancient History, Ancient Languages ​​(Hittite, Latin, Greek, Sumerian, Akkadian, etc.) departments/majors can directly begin the program.
2- Students from departments/majors other than those mentioned above, but who have taken at least 3 archaeology-related courses during their undergraduate education, can directly begin the Master's program.
3- Students from departments other than those mentioned above, who have not taken at least 3 archaeology courses during their undergraduate education and who pass the exam and are eligible to begin the Master's Program, are required to take preparatory courses after being accepted into the major (4 courses in the Fall semester, 4 courses in the Spring semester, a total of 8 courses).
4- Students will be interviewed. Students will be accepted into the program according to the ranking that will be formed after the scores obtained in the interview.
